Why Manjaro Deepin?

1. Manjaro is a Rolling Release Distribution

My first reason to choose Manjaro is mainly because it adopts the Rolling Release development models. This means, I don’t have to worry about re-installing, upgrading whenever new version is coming. Manjaro users will get the updates continuously. Whenever new major version is released, as long as we updates Manjaro regularly, our system will be upgraded to the new release. Source

2. Manjaro is based on Arch Linux

As far as I know, Arch is a rock solid Linux distribution. Not going to under estimating other distro such as Ubuntu, Fedora, or Debian, Arch Linux is believed as a stable, modern and powerful. But, Arch Linux itself is still too difficult to install or configure for a new Linux users. And then, Manjaro was born as the answer.

3. Software Installation made easy

I was impressed by AUR (Arch User Repository). I can easily install many applications directly from Pamac (Add/Remove Software). ISkype, Team Viewer, Stremio, Nuvola Player can be installed from Pamac, no need to download the binary from the official website. By doing this, I don’t have to worry about file dependencies at all.

4. Stable

I have never encountered major error or hang when operating Manjaro. Even I run Manjaro on a VirtualBox or running from Live USB, its pretty well smooth and stable.

5. Easy to Use and Good Looking

Deepin Desktop 15.3 is the default desktop environment on Manjaro Deepin 16.08. And to be honest, this is the best desktop environment I ever use. Unity, Gnome 3, Cinnamon, MATE, Budgie are great. But Deepin is better. Deepin Desktop is very easy to operate, Deepin Dock work best.
