Clipgrab 3.4.2 is now available, how to install it on Ubuntu 14.04

Clipgrab is a multi platform application to download videos from YouTube website. Clipgrab comes with a simple and nice user interface. You may download from YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion directly to your computer using Clipgrab. The latest version of Clipgrab 3.4.2 is now available. If you are Ubuntu 14.04 users, here I will show you how to install Clipgrab 3.4.2 on Ubuntu 14.04.

Clipgrab allows us to download video and save it to other formats. Currently, the following formats are officially supported:

  • MPEG4
  • MP4
  • WMV
  • OGG Theora
  • MP3 audio
  • OGG Vorbis

You will only need to enter the keyword and the video with thumbnail will be loaded (YouTube only). Or, simply copy the video url and paste to the download field. Select the video quality and format and let the download process begin.

How to install Clipgrab on Ubuntu 14.04

Since there is no PPA repository for Clipgrab, we have to install Clipgrab manually on Ubunt 14.04.

For Ubuntu 14.04 32 bit

To run, simply execute this command on Terminal:
