Filezilla 3.8.1 is available-How to install on Xubuntu 14.04

The new version of Filezilla 3.8.1 is now available. This tutorial is going to show you how to install Filezilla 3.8.1 on Xubuntu 14.04. Filezilla is a free, open source FTP client application. Filezilla supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). The new Filezilla 3.8.1 include Updated official binaries to use GnuTLS 3.2.15, addressing CVE-2014-3466 and some minor bug fixes.

Download Filezilla 3.8.1 package

Extract the package

Move FileZilla3 directory to /opt

Create symbolic link to filezilla
