The new version of Hotshots 2.2.0 has been released. This new Hotshots 2.2.0 has some feature updates. Here I want to show you how to install or update to Hotshots 2.2.0 on Elementary OS Luna. On my previous tutorial, I have written how to install Hotshots 2.1.0 on Elementary OS Luna. If you have any previous version of Hotshots prior to version 2.2.0, you can follow this tutorial to update.
The new Hotshots 2.2.0 has the following feature updates:
- Restore last selection in region and freehand grabbing
- Add options to display or not dialog before/after download
How to install or update Hotshots 2.2.0 on Elementary OS Luna
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:samrog131/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install hotshots
When finished, run Hotshots
