This short tutorial is going to show you how to change the default password on OpenMediaVault server. The default admin password on OpenMediaVault 1.0 is “openmediavault” without quotes. After logging in to the web dashboard, we can easily change this password.
Open the OpenMediaVault web administration page and go to General Settings. Then click Web Administration Password tab.
Enter the new password and confirm it. Click save button to save the new password.
