It is important to make our Linux distribution usable to support our works. On this tutorial, I am going to show you how to connect to a network printer on Manjaro 16.06. Good for you if you have HP printers around you. Manjaro includes HP device manager application to manage your printers and other HP devices.
Open Print Setting via Settings menu
Click Unlock to start using it. You will need root password to unlock this Printer Settings. Next, click Add button to add new printer.
On the new printer window, click the tiny arrow close to Network Printer. It will display any available printers on the network. On this example I will add my Fuji Xerox Docuprint M115 to Manjaro 16.06. Click the printer and press Forward button to continue to the next step. Manjaro will query for any printer drivers available.
Select the brand or printer make from the list.
Next give a name for the new printer.
Now the printer is ready to use.
