Currently I am focusing on the Google Cloud Platform. I start to test many Google Cloud services such as VM instance. In Google Cloud Platform, we can easily launch multiple Virtual Machines (VM’s) in few minutes. We can use these VM’s for various purposes such as Cloud storage, database server and many others. This tutorial will guide you how to create a new VM instance on Google Cloud Platform. I am using the free trial service which lets us to try various Google Cloud Platform services.
Steps to create new VM Instance on Google Cloud Platform
1. Login to https://console.developers.google.com using your credential.
2. Scroll down to Compute Engine and then click VM Instances
3. Click Create Instance to start and you will be redirected to the following page
Type the name of your new instance, select Location and resources nearest to your location. Select the Machine Type from the list, boot source.
Select the IMAGE from the list, boot disk type, networking device. Press Create to start the process.
Wait for few minutes until your Virtual Machine up and running. When its ready, you will see the following displayed on your screen.
