This tutorial is going to show you how to install or run Gis Weather 0.6.4 on OpenSUSE 13.1. As you know, Gis Weather is an informative weather forecast widget for Windows and Linux. It displays weather forecast for the next few days from the Gismeteo.com. Basically, Gis Weather will fetch the weather data from the website and display them on your screen as a widget. Gis Weather comes with a handy settings page where you can customize the look and some other things.

How to install Gis Weather 0.6.4 on OpenSUSE 13.1

A. Download Gis Weather 0.6.4

Click here to download Gis Weather package for Linux. You will have a file called gis-weather-0.6.4.tar.gz

B. Extract the package

Simply right click on the file and select Extract here to extract the package. It will provide a new folder called: gis-weather-0.6.4.

C. Run Gis Weather

Now open the gis-weather-0.6.4 folder and execute this command
