The new version of Google Chrome 37.0 stable version is now released. Here I want to show you how to update or install Google Chrome 37.0 on Elementary OS Luna. As you know, EOS Luna is based on Ubuntu 12.04 and Google Chrome 37.0 supports Ubuntu 12.04 and derivatives. Since Google Chrome is not available through Ubuntu repository, we cannot use apt-get install command. We need to setup Google Chrome repository first.
Google Chrome 37.0 brings some improvements that fix a crash that happened when a user clicked on Advanced link in Blocking CERT_VALID Interstitial page has been fixed, the pages are now scaled down from 125% back to 100%, reloading a tab that has crashed in background has been now repaired, the debug_daemon_log_source has been fixed, the DBus timeout in cryptohome calls has been increased to 2 minutes, some OEM menu issues have been enhanced and other small fixes have been implemented.
Steps to install Google Chrome 37.0 on Elementary OS Luna
