The new version of MKVToolNix is now available. For OpenSUSE 13.2 users, you may install or update your MKVToolNix installation to this new version easily. Here we provide the tutorial to install MKVToolNix 7.4.0 on OpenSUSE 13.2. I have created a simple zenity script which can be used to install this MKVToolNix on OpenSUSE 13.2. So you don’t have to search for the rpm file manually or even add any repository. Simply execute the script and all be done easily.
Steps to install MKVToolNix 7.4.0 on OpenSUSE 13.2
A. Download the installation script
B. Make the script executable
chmod +x install-mkvtoolnix-opensuse.sh
C. Run the script and install MKVToolNix
sh install-mkvtoolnix-opensuse.sh
Answer Yes to start the installation and the script will start installing. When finished, you can run MKVToolNix GUI from your Applications menu.
