How to install Mozilla Firefox 31 on OpenSUSE 13.1

The new Firefox 31 is now out. There are several new features have been added to this version such as Add the search field to the new Tab and many other bug fixes. A complete change log can be read here. On this tutorial, I want to guide you how to get this Firefox 31 running on OpenSUSE 13.1. I’ve written an installation script of  Firefox 31 for OpenSUSE 13.1 both 32 and 64 bit editions (English language).

How to install Mozilla Firefox 31 on OpenSUSE 13.1

A. Download the installation script.

B. Make the script executable

C. Run the Script

[codesyntax lang=”bash”]

[/codesyntax]

Select the Firefox version (32 bit or 64 bit) based on your system. Press Enter to confirm it.

Select Y and press Enter on the next confirmation window.

The installer script will start downloading and installing Firefox 31 to your System. Simply wait and see. Please leave me your query if you have any problems using this script.
