How to install Skype 4.3 on OpenSUSE 13.1

How to install Skype 4.3 on OpenSUSE 13.1

A. Download Skype 4.3 Dynamic package

You can use the following command to download Dynamic package for Skype 4.3 or simply click this link.

B. Extract the package

[codesyntax lang=”bash”]

[/codesyntax]

C. Run Skype

[codesyntax lang=”bash”]

[/codesyntax]

Optionally, you can create symlink for easier use of Skype:

[/codesyntax]

Now you can simply run Skype with command:

[codesyntax lang=”bash”]

[/codesyntax]

    Doesn’t work for me. I get SIGABRT while starting Skype.

      Solved by deleting ~.Skype directory. Support couldn’t help me. I got only useless advices. I am a paying customer since many years.
