How to install VirtualBox 4.3.10 on Xubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr

The new version of VirtualBox 4.3.10 is now available for Linux system. This tutorial is going to show you how to install VirtualBox 4.3.10 on Xubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr. How to install VirtualBox 4.3.10 on Xubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr

First we need to add VirtualBox repository to Xubuntu 14.04

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Now add the following line to it

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian trusty contrib

Now add the VirtualBox key and install it

wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add –

Update Xubuntu 14.04

sudo apt-get update

Install VirtualBox

sudo apt-get install VirtualBox-4.3

dhani@dhani-xubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install VirtualBox-4.3

Reading state information… Done
