How to install VirtualBox 4.3 on Xubuntu 14.10

This tutorial is going to show you how to install VirtualBox 4.3 on Xubuntu 14.10. VirtualBox is a free and open source virtualization software which lets us to power up more than one Operating System in a single host. The new VirtualBox 4.3 comes with many improvements. If you have any previous version of VirtualBox installed on Xubuntu, you may update the installation to the latest version 4.3. 

On this tutorial, I will guide you how to install VirtualBox 4.3 on Xubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn using gamblisfx installer script. Here we go.

First, download gamblisfx installer script from the link below.

Download gamblisfx installer script

Now, make the script executable using this command

chmod +x gamblisfx-3.0.sh

And then run the script

sh gamblisfx-3.0.sh

A new window will be opened. Select VirtualBox from the list and press OK. The installer script will start downloading and installing the latest VirtualBox on your system.

When finished, run VirtualBox from the application menu. Enjoy VirtualBox 4.3 on Xubuntu 14.10. This tutorial has been tested on Xubuntu 14.10 Beta 1 64 bit edition.
