Nuvola Player is a cloud based music player for Linux. It comes with many new features and more music cloud services. The new version of Nuvola Player 3.0 is now available for download. This tutorial will guide you how to install Nuvola Player 3.0 on Ubuntu 16.04. I am using Ubuntu 16.04 Budgie Remix edition.
Nuvola Player supports the following cloud services such as: Amazon Cloud Player, 8tracks, Bandcamp, Deezer, Spotify, Groove, Google Play Music, Plex media Server and many more.
Steps to install Nuvola Player 3.0 on Ubuntu 16.04
Download the Nuvola repository settings from the following link:
and then install the DEB file you just downloaded. If you installed using Software Center, you must be a bit patient. In my case the Software Center is very slow.
Enter the root password
Once installed you will see Tilliado Repositories listed on your app list.
Run the repositories application and then select Anonymous Access as follow.
Select Nuvola Player from the list
Select Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus from the distribution list. Press Continue
The installation process will take place. Wait until it completed
Now you can use Nuvola Player on Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus
