Personally, I don’t like the default theme on Linux Mint 18.2. I am running the Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon edition. OSX-Arc is a great theme for Linux desktop which supports various Desktop environments including Cinnamon. How to install OSX-Arc Theme on Linux Mint 18.2
Step 1. Download OSX-Arc Theme DEB package
Please download the OSX-Arc Theme from the link below. Save it to your local directory.

Step 2. Install OSX-Arc Theme
Right click the DEB file and select open with GDebi Package Installer. Follow the instruction shown on the installer.
Step 3. Apply OSX-Arc Theme
Open Themes via System Settings | Themes.
Change the Window borders and Controls from the settings page. Also, you can change the Desktop section as well. See my example above. Now, your Linux Mint 18.2 should looks better than before. Cheers.
