Looking for a free desktop screen recorder for Ubuntu 14.04 or Ubuntu 14.10? This tutorial is going to show you how to install Kazam 1.5.3, a free desktop screen recorder for Linux. Kazam is a simple screen recording program that will capture the content of your screen and record a video file that can be played by any video player that supports VP8/WebM video format.  There are not many screencast application for Ubuntu Linux. The screencast application lets us to capture or record  the desktop activity. The new version of Kazam 1.5.3 is now available. Ubuntu users can easily install Kazam 1.5.3 via PPA repository which will be discussed later on this post.
