Install Tomahawk music player on Fedora 21

Tomahawk is another free and open source music player available for Linux system. It supports various operating systems such as Windows, Mac and Linux. Tomahawk has a simple user interface, supports various music sources both locally and online services such as Google Music, Pandora radio and many more.

Steps to install Tomahawk Music Player on Fedora 21

First, we need to download the binary of Tomahawk for Linux. You can do this by clicking this download link and save it to your computer. Or, this wget command also works.

wget https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//packages/tomahawk/0.8.4/1.fc21/x86_64/tomahawk-0.8.4-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm

If you are running 32 bit Fedora, use this command instead

wget https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//packages/tomahawk/0.8.4/1.fc21/i686/tomahawk-0.8.4-1.fc21.i686.rpm

Next install the package using yum command to automatically resolve the dependency files. Please note that the installation of Tomahawk requires internet connection. Make sure you are connected to the internet to continue.

yum install tomahawk-0.8.4-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm

or

yum install tomahawk-0.8.4-1.fc21.i686.rpm
