OpenSUSE Tips-How to refresh OpenSUSE Repository using Zypper command

For OpenSUSE users you must be familiar with zypper command. Zypper command is used to various package and repository management on OpenSUSE distribution and derivatives. On this OpenSUSE tips, I want to show you how to refresh OpenSUSE’s repository data without upgrading packages. In Ubuntu based system, we usually use apt-get update to refresh or retrieve the current repository data from the internet.

To refresh the repository, use the following command to refresh the repository database

[codesyntax lang=”bash”]

[/codesyntax]

zypper refresh
