ClamTk is GUI tool for ClamAV antivirus for Linux. Even Linux is believed as the most secure operating system, but installing antivirus on your distribution is required if you are exposed to the internet all the time. The new ClamTk 5.11 is now available and this guide will show you how to install ClamTk 5.11 on OpenSUSE 13.1. ClamTk is available on OpenSUSE Security repository, we need to add this repository to install ClamTk on OpenSUSE.
Steps to install ClamTk 5.11 on OpenSUSE 13.1
A. Add the repository
To add the repository, simply visit the link below and select OpenSUSE 13.1 and then click 1-Click Install to start installing
http://software.opensuse.org/package/clamtk
Next, the software management will be opened and follow the wizard shown on your screen. You also need to Trust the repository.
Wait until the installation is finished.
B. Run ClamTk
Once finished, go to Activities and click ClamTk
