Shell Script to install Google Chrome on Ubuntu 14.04

This shell script was created to simplifies the installation process of Google Chrome on Ubuntu 14.04 and its derivatives. With this script you will be able to install the most recent version of Google Chrome Stable on Ubuntu with a single command. There is no additional software or packages needed to run this script.

How to run this script

Open Terminal and type:

[codesyntax lang=”bash”]

[/codesyntax]

You will be asked to enter root password. Wait until the download process and installation finished. When done, Google Chrome should be installed.
