The new version of Clonezilla 2.3.1-18 is now available with some important updates. The download link is available at the end of this post. I have tested this version of Clonezilla for backup my Fedora system and all went perfectly. Clonezilla 2.3.1-18 is now based on Debian “Sid” repository as of 2014-1208. Linux kernel has been updated to 3.16.7; the drbl package has been updated to 2.11.13 and Clonezilla to 3.12.7; syslinux has been updated to 6.03; a mechanism has been added to check if i386 library (libc6-i386 or glibc.i686) exists on x86-64 system when running makeboot.sh due to the fact that syslinux included in Clonezilla Live is 32-bit; Linux kernel i486 has been replaced by i586 because now only i586 kernel exists in the Debian ‘Sid’ repository.
