How to add EPEL repository to Fedora 20
First, download the package from this link. Next, you should see a confirmation window opened for you. I am using Fedora 20 KDE on this tutorial. Select Open with Apper Installer to open and install the file immediately.
Alternatively, you can also install the repo file you’ve just downloaded using command:
rpm -ivh epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
Once finished, check the content of the /etc/yum.repos.d. You should see the epel repo listed there.
ls /etc/yum.repos.d
