By default, Adoble Flash Plugin is not installed on OpenSUSE 13.1. In other word, you cannot play YouTube videos on OpenSUSE 13.1. What we need to do is install the Adobe Flash Plugin on OpenSUSE 13.1 in order to play video content from the internet.
This tutorial is going to show you how to install Adobe Flash Plugin on OpenSUSE 13.1.
First, we need to download the rpm package from Adobe website. Simple visit this page : http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. Then click "select rpm package for Other Linux".
In a moment, the download process should begin. And you will have a rpm file called: flash-plugin-11.2.202.332-release.i386.rpm or something like that. Now right click the file and select Open With | Apper Installer. You will be asked for root password to complete this task. Once finished, you can check if the Adobe Flash Plugin correctly enabled.
Open Firefox and type "about:plugins" without " sign. You should see Shockwave Flash listed there.
