I just made a fresh install on my Laptop with Fedora 21 Beta. It still in Beta version but actually its usable for testing. After installing, the very first thing I do is to install Fedy. Fedy is a GUI application which contains set of tools you need to tweak your Fedora. It can do many things such as installing additional software, add or manage repositories and some other things. Actually, Fedora 21 does not supported by Fedy yet. But I was able to install Fedy on Fedora 21. This short tutorial will show you how to install Fedy on Fedora 21.
Steps to install Fedy on Fedora 21
Open Terminal and paste this command
su -c “curl https://satya164.github.io/fedy/fedy-installer -o fedy-installer && chmod +x fedy-installer && ./fedy-installer”
It will install Fedy and refresh your repository. Please note that you will see the following error appears on Terminal:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home%3A/satya164%3A/fedy/Fedora_21/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 – Not Found
Just leave it and wait until the installation finished. Once finished, you can run Fedy and start tweaking your Fedora 21.
