Kingsoft Office is a rich features and professional Office Suite available for Linux system. Kingsoft Office can be installed on Xubuntu 13.10 easily. This quick tutorial is going to show you how to install Kingsoft Office Suite on Xubuntu 13.10.
First you must download the latest version of Kingsoft Office Suite installation package. Select the deb package from the download list.
After download you should have a file kingsoft-office_9.1.0.4280~a12p4_i386.deb. The file name could be different with the one above depends on the current version available on the download page.
Now open Terminal and install Kingsoft using command:
sudo dpkg -I kingsoft-office_9.1.0.4280~a12p4_i386.deb
Wait until the installation finished. Once finished, Kingsoft Office will appear on the Office section from application menu on Xubuntu.
