Onlyoffice is a powerful productivity tool for your network. It contains a built in document editor, collaboration tools, and many others. This tutorial is going to show you how to install Onlyoffice Community Server on Debian 9.0 Stretch. There are several ways to install Onlyoffice server. One of the easiest way using Docker container.
- 2 GHz Dual core CPU or better
- Minimum 4 GB of RAM
- At least 2 GB hard disk space
- Docker version 1.10 or later
Steps to install Onlyoffice Community Server on Debian 9.0 Stretch
Step 1. Install Docker
Please read my tutorial to install Docker on Debian 9.0 Stretch. Please make sure that you have the latest Docker version installed.
Step 2. Install Onlyoffice Community Server
Use the following command to install Onlyoffice Community Server using docker. The following process download huge file from the internet. Make sure you have a good internet connection.
root@debian:~# docker run -i -t -d -p 8080:80 --restart=always onlyoffice/communityserver
You may change the onlyoffice port as well. For example
root@debian:~# docker run -i -t -d -p 80:80 --restart=always onlyoffice/communityserver

Now open web browser and type the Debian IP address. For example in my case would be:
Now we will configure the Onlyoffice via web browser. It will initialize and it took some times to complete.
