Samba is an essential package for OpenSUSE system which want to share folder over the network. Samba provide a powerful way to use OpenSUSE 13.1 as a file server or just to share files over the Windows network environment.Samba is available on default OpenSUSE 13.1 repository. We can easily install Samba on OpenSUSE with this single command (as root)
zypper install samba*
