Simple Screen Recorder is a tiny application that can be used to record desktop activity into a video file. SimpleScreenRecorder is available for Linux and installing SimpleScreenRecorder is pretty easy. Here I will show you how to install SimpleScreenRecorder on Manjaro 15.12.
Steps to install Simple Screen Recorder on Manjaro 15.12
There are several ways to install SSR on Manjaro 15.12. I prefer using yaourt via Terminal. But you may also install it via Add/Remove Software. I will explain one by one.
A. Install via Terminal using yaourt
Type this command to install simple screen recorder on Manjaro. But make sure you have yaourt installed first. You can install yaourt using this command
sudo pacman -S yaourt
Next, install Simple Screen Recorder using this command
yaourt simplescreenrecorder
You will need to answer some confirmation question during install. You will be asked to enter root password as well.
B. Install via Software Center
Open Add/Remove Software and type simplescreenrecorder on the search box. Right click on simplescreenrecorder and select Install.
