A good news for Spotify users like me. Solus OS includes an easier way to install Spotify client on Solus OS. When you open Software Center, on the third party section you will find Spotify listed there together with Google Chrome and Opera. Spotify can be installed by clicking the install button next to each software listed.
The installer then will take over the installation from here. It took some times to download and install Spotify on Solus OS, depends on the internet connection.
This tutorial was tested on the following platform:
- Lenovo ThinkPad T450 series
- Solus OS 1.2.0.5 Live USB mode
