How to scalp using CCI Indicator and Moving average

oHello traders, at this time I want to share about how to scalp using CCI Indicator and Moving Average. I am using 20 Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and CCI indicator with default 14 periods.

Buy conditions:

  • Price break 20 EMA from below
  • CCI indicator is above zero line
  • Time frame: 15 minutes
  • Target per trade: 10 pips
  • Stop: 10 pips

Sell Conditions:

  • Price break 20 EMA from above
  • CCI indicator is above zero line
  • Time frame: 15 minutes
  • Target per trade: 10 pips
  • Stop: 10 pips

Here are the screenshot:buy-audusd-1

On the chart above, on the first signal, the price was trying to break the EMA but the CCI still way below zero line. The CCI here is used to filter these kind of fake out. And on the second signal, the price break the 20 EMA and CCI is above zero line already. Put your stop below the last low for buy.

See how candle move down and break the EMA. Check if CCI also cross zero line from above. Enter SELL when these two conditions met. Immediately put your stop loss above the previous entry candle. The target can be 1:1 reward ratio or more depend on you. But the stop loss should be tight since this is scalping.
