Photomatix is a powerful software for photo enthusiast. You can turn your ordinary photo into a HDR (High Dynamic Rxsssssange) photo in few clicks. Good news for Linux users, Photomatix is now support Linux system. Even its not a freeware, Photomatix worth to try. Here I will show you how to install Photomatix for Linux on Ubuntu 16.04 and all derivatives. I am using Linux Lite 3.0 which is also based on Ubuntu 16.04.
Steps to install Photomatix on Ubuntu 16.04
First, download Photomatix for Linux from the official link. Or simply use wget from your Terminal console.
wget http://hdrsoft.com/download/linux/PhotomatixLinux_Ubuntu_16.04.deb
Now install the package
sudo gdebi PhotomatixLinux_Ubuntu_16.04.deb
