Xubuntu is a lightweight Linux which is based on Ubuntu and use XFCE as the default desktop manager. Xubuntu is simple but for some people its too simple. Here I want to show you how to install Whisker Menu on Xubuntu 13.10. But what is Whisker Menu?
Whisker Menu is a new app launcher with many features and options. Whisker menu also has a nice looking interface. Here is the look of Whisker Menu in Xubuntu.
To install Whisker Menu on Xubuntu 13.10 you can execute this command on Terminal.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gottcode/gcppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin
Once completed, simply right click on the Xfce panel and press Add item. Select Whisker Menu and press Add button to complete.
