If you have PlaySation (PS) 3 games and you want to play it on your computer, you may try to install RPCS3. Now available RPCS3 for Linux via AppImage. The new RPCS3 is distributed using AppImage which makes it even easier to run on Linux.
RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The project began development on May 23rd, 2011 and currently supports modern Vulkan, Direct3D 12 and OpenGL graphic APIs. The emulator is capable of booting and playing hundreds of commercial games. Officially, RPCS3 emulator supports Windows 7 and Windows 10 64 bit and also Linux 64 bit editions. As noted on the offical RPCS3 website, this emulator can play more than 258 PS3 games smoothly. How to install RPCS3 on Linux
Since its distributed in AppImage format, you will only need to download the AppImage file and run it on Linux. The major distribution such as Debian, Ubuntu, Arch Linux, Fedora should works perfectly.

Install Notes:
After download, we need to make the file executable. Run this command on Terminal to make it executable
chmod +x rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-07-27-7ac96f7-7425_linux64.AppImage
