Xtreme Download Manager 5.0.7.4 on Elementary OS Loki

New version of Xtreme Download Manager is now available. The new Xtreme Download Manager 5.0.7.4 brings a lot of improvements such as 5 times faster on download, new user interface, supports HTTPS, HTTP, FTP and more. Also, the Xtreme Download Manager can be used to download videos from various websites such as YouTube, DailyMotion etc.

Installing Xtreme Download Manager on Ubuntu/Debian based Linux is now made easy. Noobslab team has provided the PPA repository for Xtreme Download Manager. If you are running Elementary OS Loki, you can install this download accelerator via Terminal with the following commands

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xdman

After the installation completed, you can start using XDM. You can also integrate XDM with Google Chrome or Chromium.

Xtreme Download Manager is a truly Download Accelerator for Linux. The interface is very simple, easy but rich features. I do love the YouTube video downloader utility which helps me to download videos from YouTube.
