Atom is a rich features text editor for Linux. The most recent version of Atom 0.116 is now available for download. This tutorial is going to show you how to install Atom 0.116 on Deepin 2014. As usual, I already created an automated installation script for Atom. So you can install Atom on Deepin and other Ubuntu based Linux easier.
How to install Atom text editor on Deepin 2014 using automated script
A. Download the script
B. Make executable

chmod +x install-atom.sh

C. Run the script
[codesyntax lang=”bash”]
sh install-atom.sh
[/codesyntax]
Select Yes and press enter. The script will install Atom to Deepin 2014 automatically.
