Yosemite Icon for Gnome is a modification of Numix Icon Theme Circle into something more like a Mac OS X icon theme. Its a nice icon theme that can be easily applied to Ubuntu 16.04.
How to install Yosemite icons for Gnome on Ubuntu
This icon theme needs Numix Icon Theme Circle to work. So, make sure to install Numix Icon Theme Circle first. Open Terminal and use these commands to install Numix Icon.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install numix-icon-theme-circle
Now, its time to install Yosemite Icon.
sudo sh -c "curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Foggalong/hardcode-fixer/master/fix.sh | bash" curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ActusOS/GnomeYosemiteIcons/master/download_from_github.sh | sh
OK done. Now you should see Gnomeyosemiteicons-master on your icon theme list.
