Steps to install OnlyOffice 9.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 via Docker
Step 1. Update your system
Make sure our Ubuntu is up to date. Use the update and upgrade command as follow
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Step 2. Download the installer
Use this command to download the installation script from OnlyOffice website
wget http://download.onlyoffice.com/install/opensource-install.sh
Step 3. Install OnlyOffice Community Edition
On this tutorial, I am installing OnlyOffice without Mail Server support. Please read the official documentation if you plan to install OnlyOffice with Mail Server support.
bash opensource-install.sh -ims false
Make sure there is no error. On my case I got the following error after executing the command above
the following port must be open:80
Then, I remove Apache2 web server on my Ubuntu and re execute the command and now its working. The installer will download files (more than 500 MB) from the internet, so make sure your internet is working properly.
Once completed, open a web browser and type the server IP address. For example:
http://10.34.0.210
Where 10.34.0.210 is the IP address of my Ubuntu Server running OnlyOffice
The configuration process take some times. Sit back and relax.
Next, enter the password and your email for the portal. Finally, enjoy OnlyOffice
Thanks for coming.
