How to install Google Chrome on Fedora 23 Workstation

Fedora 23 Workstation comes with Firefox as the default web browser. If you are a Google Chrome fans, you can easily download and install Google Chrome on your Fedora 23 Workstation. Google Chrome is a simple web browser developed by Google Inc. This tutorial will show you how to install Google Chrome on Fedora 23.

Step 1. Download Google Chrome RPM package for Fedora (64 bit)

https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm

Step 2. Install package

Since Fedora 23 uses dnf tool to install packages, simply execute this command inside the Download directory of your Google Chrome package.

dnf install google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm

It will then display a long list of packages that will be installed. Answer by typing y and press Enter to continue. In a moment, Google Chrome should be installed.
