By default, Fedora 20 does not come with Adobe Flash Plugin installed. So we need to install it manually. But don’t worry, installing Adobe Flash Plugin on Fedora 20 is very easy with the help of Fedy. Fedy is a handy and useful tool for Fedora users to install many software, plugins and tweaks Fedora. Fedy is a small GUI application which provides Fedora users to install software, tweaks and manage Fedora repository with mouse clicks. This tutorial is going to show you how to install Adobe Flash Plugin on Fedora 20. On this tutorial, I am using Fedy to help me installing the flash plugin.
Steps to install Adobe Flash Plugin on Fedora 20 using Fedy
A. Install Fedy
You can read this tutorial to install Fedy on Fedora 20 if you don’t have it yet.
B. Install Adobe Flash Plugin
Open Fedy from Fedora application menu. Select Tweaks and tasks
Next check Install Adobe flash plugin from the list and press Select
In a moment, Fedy will download necessary files to install Adobe Flash Plugin on Fedora 20. Once finished, check if Adobe Flash Plugin installed correctly. Open Firefox and type “about:plugins” without quotes. Make sure you see Shockwave Flash is listed there.
