Elementary Tweaks (Tweaks) is an essential part that should be included in the system. I don’t know why, the Elementary OS developer does not include Tweaks on their list. But anyway, there is an easy way to install Elementary Tweaks on Elementary OS Loki. Elementary Tweaks is an additional tool that can be used for many purposes such as change theme, icons, animation options and many more.
Elementary Tweaks on Loki
To install Tweaks on Elementary OS 0.4 Loki, follow these steps:
A. Add the PPA
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:philip.scott/elementary-tweaks
B. Update repository
sudo apt-get update
C. Install Tweaks
sudo apt-get install elementary-tweaks
In case you get an error when using add-apt-repository command, you will need to install the following package first.
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
