This quick tutorial will show you how to install Webmin 1.760 on Fedora 22. Webmin is an admin management tool which is available through a web management console. I think Webmin is a must have tool for Linux administrator. It contains many modules you need to monitor and add functionality to your Fedora server.
Steps to install Webmin on Fedora 22
A. Download Webmin RPM package
You can use the following command to download Webmin 1.760 RPM via Terminal
wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin-1.760-1.noarch.rpm
Or, simply navigate to this page: http://www.webmin.com/download.html
B. Install the package
Now comes the fun stuff. Installing the RPM package using dnf. Execute this command as root to install Webmin RPM package we’ve just downloaded on the previous step.
dnf install webmin-1.760-1.noarch.rpm
Output:
[root@localhost Downloads]# dnf install webmin-1.760-1.noarch.rpm
